I have a flower bed outside my front door ... after flowering, one of the plants produces these little berries. Thought shooting the clusters of berries from low down through the plant would be interesting - the contrast of the red/black on the green leaves.

Ah, I see you wanted an advanced critique. I would try to not have that bright orange/red in the background visible. It sort of distracts from the colour theme created by the berries and leaves. Maybe also the blue/grey stuff in the background, though I don't think that's as critical as it's much more subtle. Whether you'd accomplish that by choosing a different angle or by cropping afterwards, I don't know. Anyway, that's just my two cents. I really like the focus you've achieved on the berries at the bottom right. Very clear, and the fact that the others are more blurry is nice too. Allows the eye to be drawn to a single place. Thanks ... this and the other image ('berry fields 02') were supposed to be viewed as a pair ... the focus in 02 is in a different place. And thanks for the critique ... it's also much appreciated
